Nick is a qualified financial accountant with a long-standing reputation in South African business. While consulting on a project for the South African Revenue Service, he saw that large companies had no specialist checking whether they were overpaying VAT. Blumont grew from that, and he has led it for more than twenty years.
Away from work he is usually cycling the mountains and trails around Cape Town.
Carl holds an Honours degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town and was a business analyst at one of South Africa's leading investment managers. He works alongside Nick on the large-scale data analysis behind every recovery.
He has two young children and runs the trails of Table Mountain when time allows.
Maggie trained at the Shannon College of Hotel Management and spent more than twenty years in luxury hospitality, where cost management in some of the world's best hotels was part of the job. She came to know Blumont while living in Cape Town and now leads its growth in Ireland and the UK.
She runs a group for expats in Limerick and Clare, and loses a fair number of golf balls at her local course.
